Riverford Organic Farmers have been a staple of my pantry for years and such a bonus during the pandemic. One of the highlights of this time is how important it is to buy seasonal veg and support small, organic farming practices.

Riverford Organics have a down to earth approach to recipes, which sit in perfect unison to the Wholesome World ethos of simply nutritious and delicious food accessible for everyone. So you can imagine my delight in our partnership.

You can read more about them in my other diary post ‘Riverford organics‘.

Having control of my health is so important to me. During my short lifetime, I have experienced the hardship and tragedy of chronic illness. I vowed to take the best care of my body possible and share all my research as far and wide as possible.

Free radicals are entering our system from day one. You cannot avoid them no matter where you live, they are in everything including the air we breathe.

What is so important for long term health is to have a varied diet full of as many antioxidants as possible featuring ‘free radical scavengers’. This should help balance out the toxins and up your immune system. There is no cure BUT prevention is key.

New to the app is our recipe of the month, kindly contributed by Riverford Farm, the ‘Spring Green and Coconut Dahl’ is definitely one to try during the lighter evenings with a light glass of white wine. This one is full of nutritional goodness and the perfect recipe to kick start the new season.
