CHRISTMAS feasts & wholesome gifts
When did Christmas come around so quickly?
We all hope to be organised and treat this time as a well-earned rest, but of course, Christmas comes around quick and before we know it, the list of last minute tasks is growing by the second.
All wrapped up in one simple diary post is a little helping hands to bring together a wholesome holiday. Here you will find my favourite healthy alternatives to the classic krimble recipes, an easy traditional craft to inspire those creative souls and a yuletide soundtrack to get you in the mood.

In the UK, geese are produced principally for the Christmas market.
Goose is an excellent source of riboflavin and vitamin B-6. These vitamins help our bodies use energy from foods, backed by the energy being boosted by its strong iron source of iron. B vitamins are important for growth and healthy skin, hair, nerves and muscles.
SLOW BRAISED RED CABBAGE, BEETROOT & PEAR
GF, DF, NF
Time to create: 1hr 25mins
Unlike most brassicas, red cabbage doesn’t suffer when cooked for a long time; it softens and deepens its fantastic colour.
The beetroot adds to the earthiness and compounds the colour, along with highly nutritious and packed with essential vitamins, minerals, while the pear adds sweetness.
THE ULTIMATE PLANT-BASED STUFFING

A feast of all things festive, designed to fit snuggly alongside your Christmas veg. The base is a straightforward sage and onion stuffing, but has been enriched with nutritional mushrooms, full of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, chestnuts (1), which are low in fat, strong antioxidant holders and high in vitamin C, cranberries (2) which are strongly known as common cold defenders and flecks of, seasonal kale (3), which is swamped with antioxidants to evade the oxidants from your bodies that are known to inflict many diseases, including cancer.
Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Grain Free, Vegetarian
Serves: 16 slices (75g / slice)
Time to create: 1 hr 45mins
Time for personal effort: 20 mins
You can have it all with this ridiculously easy Christmas cake recipe which won’t send you into orbit but, oh boy, does it taste good.
WHOLESOME WORLD COOKBOOK & LIFE
Over the past year I have been working damn hard behind the scenes transforming the Wholesome World app into the first edition ‘Wholesome World Cookbook & Life: Cancer Survivor | Ocean Addict’.
This project has nearly broken me and made me all in one. I struggle to pull sentences together at the best of times so trying to communicate my thoughts through the written word has been somewhat challenging.
Thank you galore to everyone involved, I hope this will be the start of a new exciting chapter for Wholesome World. I would love your support by sharing this news far and wide, add it to your Christmas List for anyone interested in how they can create a happy and healthy world.

MADE FOR LIFE ORGANICS DISCOUNT CODE
I stumbled upon MADE FOR LIFE ORGANICS many moons ago and still swear by their products.
They are totally unique in that their products are 100% organic, raw and toxin free. I’ve strongly highlighted them in the Wholesome World Cookbook & Life due to their ability to suit all skin types and can safely nurture the skin, even through cancer treatments. It’s so safe you can even eat it!
I remember using the beautiful flavours of the products to improve the taste of my thrown together pistachio and rose macaroons using the facial oil.
If you’re looking to treat someone or yourself to something rather special, head to their site and use discount code WHOLESOME20 for 20% discount.
Scoping around the field I managed to stumble upon some willow sprites, and was aroused to see if I could pull a wreath together! You are so welcome to judge me, but have also come across a beautiful Eucalyptus wreath YouTube to share to you too. She makes the holder from a wire hanger, which is a bit of a classic, but keep your mind open and see what entices you most and keep it simple are my main points.
